Week 6 - Your Security Strategy Should Never Be "Finished"

In cybersecurity, you can potentially fall into a trap, thinking that once you’ve deployed a "perfect" solution your job is finished. But if you want to protect mission-essential data, you have to treat security operations as a continuous process

Continually improving security operations starts with feedback Every time a server fails, a disk dies, or a user accidentally clicks a phishing link, it's an opportunity to refine your process. Is your recovery plan meeting your expectations? What could use some revision?

To keep operations sharp, you should prioritize regular after action reports and automated testing. It’s better to find a flaw in your setup during a scheduled test than during a real disaster.
